Payment and Cancellation Policies
PAYMENT POLICY
- All payments must be received in our office by the 10th of each month
for the student’s account to remain current.
- All payments received after the 10th of each month, will incur a $10
LATE FEE.
- The Lesson House reserves the right to discontinue lessons at any time
due to lack of payment.
- Payments may be also made by mail or telephone.
The Definition of a Private
Lesson is as follows: One half hour of instruction, once a week from
one teacher to one student.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Make-ups are at the discretion of each individual instructor, make-ups
will not be allowed without having received 24hours advanced notice.
Likewise, any cancellation within 24 hours of a lesson will not be allowed
a credit.
The Lesson House will only issue up to TWO credits per month. Exceptions
are:
1. The teacher cancels and an appropriate substitute is unavailable.
2. The Lesson falls on a holiday
3. There has been a mistake made on the part of The Lesson House.
All returned checks will be charged $20.
Tuition does NOT cover any added costs of accessories i.e.: books, rental
instrument, shirts, strings etc.
DROP POLICY
-Should you for any reason want to drop lessons you must notify The
Lesson House before the new month starts. Otherwise, you will be responsible
for the full month’s tuition. There are NO exceptions.
A student will be considered
absent if he/she does not show up within the first fifteen minutes of
a lesson!
In order to make your child’s
lesson more enjoyable, we recommend practicing at least 30 minutes a
day, three times a week.
